Equipment

  • 1 Gallon Ziplock Bag

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot with hot tap water
  • Seal the ground beef in a gallon size Ziplock bag to prevent water touching the beef. Remove any air bubbles to allow it to be submerged
  • Submerge the Ziplock bag. This can be done with baking weights, or even another bowl that's filled with water that sits on top.
  • Every ten minutes check the ground beef. Add more hot water if necessary
  • Within 30 minutes the ground beef should be ready for burgers, meatballs, or whatever is on your menu tonight!
